Many families have old photos, names, and dates, but not the voice, personality, values, and meaning behind them. A legacy film gives families a way to hear a person's story directly from them, while it can still be told.
We guide individuals through a relaxed, conversational interview process. These are not basic event videos. With professional video, strong audio, and cinematic editing, we weave their memories and family photos into a beautifully crafted film, provided to the family through a private delivery.
Because each project is a custom, professional documentary, our legacy film packages begin at $4,997. We invite our referral partners to introduce this premium service to financially qualified families who will treasure this heirloom for generations.

My name is Kedrick, and I started Story & Legacy Films because after years behind the camera, I kept seeing the same problem. People had powerful stories inside them, but standard interview environments made them stiff and uncomfortable.

How do I submit a qualified referral?
Simply fill out our referral partner form or introduce us to the family directly via email. To qualify for the $500 thank-you, the referral must be introduced prior to them booking, they cannot be an active lead in our system, and they must book and make their first payment for a full legacy film package.
What qualifies for the $500 referral thank-you?
The referral thank-you is issued when a referred client books and pays for a full legacy film package (packages begin at $4,997). It does not apply to free guide downloads, casual inquiries, or smaller starter products. The payment is issued after the client’s first payment clears.
How are referral payments processed?
Payments can be issued to your business, a staff appreciation fund, a resident activity fund, or a charity of your choice, where allowed by your organization's policies. We may request a W-9 before processing the payment.
What happens after I refer a family?
Once introduced, we reach out gently to schedule a relaxed Story Call. If they decide to move forward, we schedule their interview and filming. The final cinematic film is delivered a few weeks later. The process is designed to be joyful and deeply meaningful for the family.
Will the family feel pressured to buy?
Not at all. We approach every family with care, respect, and absolutely no pressure. We start with a relaxed Story Call to determine if our service is the right fit. We are here to serve, not to aggressively sell.
What if the person being filmed is nervous?
That is completely normal. We use a gentle, guided interview approach designed to make the experience feel like a natural conversation rather than a formal interview. We prioritize comfort, patience, and dignity above all else.
